What is the Definition of Disability?

"The inability to engage in any substantial gainful activity by reason of any medically determinable physical or mental impairment which can be expected to result in death or which has lasted or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than 12 months."

I was not injured on the job. Do I still qualify for SSDI benefits?

Yes, there are no requirements stating that you must be injured on the job. If you can't work due to a disability, you may qualify for Social Security Disability benefits.
